About the Viper Chain Block

The Viper chain block by the GT brand is a well tried and tested quality manual hoist. The number of chain falls will vary according to the model capacity; At the lower end 1 chain fall is enough, mid range models may have 2 or 4 falls and the higher models could have 8 or more falls.

When it comes to maintenance the hoist is designed for easy access in order to replace certain parts if necessary. Performance requirements meet BS EN 13157.

GT Viper Manual Chain Block Features

• key features include:
• Grade 80 load chain with fine tolerance. (BS EN 818-7 compliance)
• Minimum breaking load is 4 x the stated WLL or 4:1
• Electro galvanised hand chain
• 360 swivel hooks with heavy duty safety latches
• Sealed bearings

The GT Viper chain block is designed for straight, inline lifting applications and should not be used for cross hauling.
